Nacho Grande

Nacho Grande
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 cup of TVP (textured vegetable protein or Vegetarian burger such as Boca Burger)
  • 1 Tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp onion powder
  • 1 Tbsp cumin powder
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup of warm water
  • 1 26 oz jar of favorite spaghetti sauce

If using TVP soak in water for 10 minutes or until moist and hydrated. Sauté onion in oil until soft. Add TVP or veggie Burger Crumbles and spaghetti sauce and taco seasoning (optional). Stir and simmer for 5 minutes. May need to add some water to make a bit more liquid and simmer for another 15 minutes or so. Place mixture over favorite tortilla chips and top with nacho cheese (SEE RECIPE) sliced olives and green onions if desired.
